Chris, Great Post. Really helps to show how this type of trip is accomplished with points. I get a lot of emails from my credit cards about buying points. Does it ever make sense to buy points? Some of the offers I have received include matching 100% of points purchased or 40% more points , etc. I don't think I have ever heard you address buying points.
